- Tai chi: Tai chi is a series of movements done either very slowly or quickly to move the body's chi, or energy throughout the body. This ancient practice effectively combines meditation and movement to improve and maintain health.
- Chi Gong: Chi Gong is an ancient practice that involves moving the body in different movements to increase energy throughout the body to create healing and balance. Some common movements include raising and lowering arms, moving head from side to side, and rubbing ears, feet and hands. This technique promotes balance, coordination, endurance and flexibility.
- Bird watching: You can sit at home or join a group and begin to enjoy one of the greatest relaxing pleasures nature has to offer. The variety of colors, shapes, sizes and songs create a constant source of serenity and happiness.
- Personal space: Create an altar, section of a table or book shelf in your home. Put your favorite family photos, a flower or candle to show respect and reverence for your family, to celebrate a special event or to remember the important things in life you love.
