The object of Word Whomp™ is to make as many words as you can from the six letters in the middle of the screen. Words must have at least 3 letters, and they can't be proper names, abbreviations, or contractions. Make words by clicking the letters in order. For example, if you wish to spell "CAT," click (or type) the letter "C" first; then "A"; and then "T."

When you finish making a word, click the on screen ENTER button or press the "Enter" key. If the word is in the puzzle, the word will appear on the signs at the top of the screen. Spelling words will advance the digging gopher towards the veggies and token bonuses.

As soon as you reach the "Spin" carrot, you'll receive 10, 50, or 100 tokens (depending on the difficulty level), a jackpot spin, and tokens for each additional word you find! If you reach the "Last Word" in this witty word game, you will be rewarded with 200 more tokens!

Jackpot!
If you munch your "Spin" carrot, the Jackpot Spinner will spin as soon as your current word game ends.

If the Jackpot Spinner lands on the word "JACKPOT," you'll win the jackpot amount shown on the left side of the game . The Jackpot gets bigger every second, so the longer you play, the more you can win.

Here are some additional pointers designed to help you become a more advanced Word Whomp player.

All words in the puzzle contain 3 - 6 letters. Proper names and abbreviations don't count.

Skill Level 1 is easiest, so try this level first. When you've mastered the basics, move on to a higher skill level. At the higher skill levels, your potential token bonus is greater.

If you're stumped, click the MIX UP button. When your letters switch places, you can often find words that you may have overlooked. You can click the MIX UP button as often as you wish.

After you reach the "Spin" carrot, longer words will earn you more tokens than shorter words. So always look for 5- and 6-letter words while entering shorter words.

Words are listed alphabetically within each bracket of 3, 4, 5, and 6 letter words. Use this to your advantage as you try to spell the last few words in the game.

At the end of each word game, look closely at the words you didn't find. These words will probably show up in future puzzles

The Word Whomp dictionary does not include every word in the English language - instead, only those words that are in relatively common usage are included.

If there's a "s" in the puzzle, don't forget to add it to as many words as you can to make plurals!

Next to Game Mode, tick the button for American English or UK English.

One of my favorite games. I can't say that I have ever seen many "foreign language" words in here that have not become a part of our "English" language. We have borrowed a very high percentage of our language from other lands that our so called "English" language is a hodgepodge language. It is certainly not "The Queen's English". Did you know that words from French and Latin alone make up about 30 percent of the English language?

Here are a just few words that come from foreign languages that we see quite often when reading English books, magazines, web sites and such as that.

cookie (Dutch) safari (Arabic) ballet (French) cafe (French) feast (German) glitch )Yiddish

patio (Spanish) Tsunami (Japanese ) chocolate (Indigenous People of the Americas)

If you look in the upper right-hand corner of each activated premium badge, there is + sign in a small green box. Click on that and the options for extending your time are offered.

You're welcome.

It's important to clear your caches on a daily basis and it's a good idea to also clear them right before or directly after a long play session.

Also click the Flash Player Manager link that I posted up above because increasing your Flash storage settings will definitely help with the Flash games.

You can remove the tick next to ALWAYS and tick the button next to "Only in Private Windows" or "Never"instead of adding the URLs to the exceptions list.

That is how I have my settings in Firefox and I'm not having any problems with the games.
Remember to close and restart Firefox after you make any changes.

Click the Firefox bars at the top right side of your screen.
In the pop up, click "Options."
Click "Privacy and Security" in the left pane.
Scroll down to "Tracking Protection."
If there is a checkmark next to ALWAYS, click EXCEPTIONS and add the following to that list:

pogo.com
game3.pogo.com
pogospike-prod.pogo.com

Close Firefox after you make the changes and then restart Firefox.

See if that helps.
