Witty word games like Word Whomp will make you go wild. This Pogo favorite challenges you to whomp adorable gophers and spell as many words as you can from a given set of letters before the clock runs out. Here are some additional pointers designed to help you become a more advanced Word Whomp player.
All words in the puzzle contain 3 - 6 letters. Proper names and abbreviations don't count.
Skill Level 1 is easiest, so try this level first. When you've mastered the basics, move on to a higher skill level. At the higher skill levels, your potential token bonus is greater.
If you're stumped, click the MIX UP button. When your letters switch places, you can often find words that you may have overlooked. You can click the MIX UP button as often as you wish.
After you reach the "Spin" carrot, longer words will earn you more tokens than shorter words. So always look for 5- and 6-letter words while entering shorter words.
Words are listed alphabetically within each bracket of 3, 4, 5, and 6 letter words. Use this to your advantage as you try to spell the last few words in the game.
At the end of each word game, look closely at the words you didn't find. These words will probably show up in future puzzles
The Word Whomp dictionary does not include every word in the English language - instead, only those words that are in relatively common usage are included.
If there's a "s" in the puzzle, don't forget to add it to as many words as you can to make plurals!More Games Like Word Whomp™

Selecting "Always Activate" is what you need in order for the Flash games to work. Firefox no longer allows Java so you cannot use it for the Java games. Internet Explorer works for the Java games. Pale Moon is a great browser that works with all the games - Java, Flash, and the new HTML 5 games. It is not considered to be a major browser, which means Pogo won't troubleshoot any issues that may arise while using it, but I use it for all the games and I'm not having any problems. |

You could try Firefox or you could try Pale Moon. Pale Moon works with all the games - Java, Flash, and the new HTML5 games. It's not considered to be one of the supported browsers, but that only means that Pogo will not troubleshoot if issues arise while using it. I use Pale Moon for all the games and I have not experienced any problems. No matter what browser you use, make sure you clear your browser's cache and the Flash cache on a daily basis. |

Is your Chrome version up to date? The latest version is 63.0.3239.132 Have you tried a different browser to see if the game will load? |

If so, click on the 3 bars at the top right side of the page and then click "Add-ons". Next, click "Plug Ins." Make sure it says "Always Activate" instead of "Ask To Activate" next to Shockwave Flash. |
