Who Has the Biggest Brain • Re: Keep Playing, You'll Get Better!

Yes, the game I am worst at is memory where you have to remember the order. But the cubed blocks, I've done very well in as i have in the numbers and letters in the circles. The memory where you remember the color of the cards I've been good on and off. Everything else I hardly or never get to 400.

Yeah, I agree. In fact, I think this was the first time I played this game, and yes, as madeforlovingguy said, it does get boring the more you play (I kept fighting falling asleep).

I've noticed that I do the best with the asteroids and the lego pieces. I tend to score 500 and above with those. But I'm glad to know that the scales throw other people and not just me. It's fine in the early stage of that section, but toward the end of it, it makes less sense to me and I tend to get them wrong more than right. I've also noticed I tend to have trouble with the puzzle pieces too (more when they're connected together than single pieces, though sometimes I'm so tired and bored by the time I reach that section that I get a lot wrong merely from carelessness). I also have noticed that I tend to get the subtraction and division wrong in the calculation section. I'll think the correct answer (the subtraction symbol) but I tend to click on the division symbol before I can stop myself. And the memory section is hit or miss for me. I'm fine when it's the flipping pairs of cards, but when you have to remember the order sequence of the cards that I have trouble, especially when I'm sitting there going, "OK, the purple thing, and the shrimp, and the yellow square thing..." because I have no idea what the pictures are supposed to represent, so my brain is going through lengthy sentences rather than just thinking, "Shrimp, squirrel, mushroom..."

So yeah, the makers of this game should have chosen pictures of things that the average person would know, seeing as most people aren't familiar with what I'm assuming is Sushi stuff which I just think is gross. And perhaps not put so many pictures in a row you have to memorize in so short a time. Just my opinion.

I completely agree with you both. I plucked up the courage to do the personal for 20 games and am nearing the end, will be glad to see the back of the game. I somehow have managed to make rank 5, but I doubt I will even make rank 10. It seems to take far too long to rank up and far too difficult to score over 500, personally 400 would have been ample. I also can't figure out their scoring system, I can play an entire round without mistakes and score anywhere from 350-450 and yet can play another round with mistakes and score higher.

I find with the weights, I start off well but they they throw in so many variants and equal weights that it just makes no sense. If they are both the same weight and equally bobbing up and down then neither are heavier than the other, so I just guess. I also agree with the memory, I do OK on both but struggle towards the end of the cards due to being moved around and forgetting what went where. And with the objects even the animals confuse me and with the 'sushi' I end up saying to myself 'yellow square, baked beans, black circle' etc and than gets even more confusing.

I really wanted to enjoy the game and am disappointed in how it has been made, they need to have more variant to the mini games rather than the few they have, and make the scoring consistent and easier to reach 500. I have noticed my high score is 2242, although I have no idea how I did that, as playing for the badge I rarely make 1700 LOL.

There's only one sub-game that I can consistently score above the cutoff point for rank credit. The scores are far too dependent on speed.

It's not worth playing (outside of badges) when I'm only rarely getting rank credit.

My high is over 1900 but i'm terrible at memory. I do well with the visual and counting. I'm technically good at math but the way it is in this game. It's too fast for me. Ouch. So I have trouble with this game.

I didn't mind the game at first, but after a few games I got bored with it as there isn't much variety. I am relatively good at the game, love maths so that is always easy for me. I find the ones I struggle with are the memory and also the weight one sometimes throws me towards the end. Haven't played for a while and have the badge for 20 games I keep putting off LOL

Who Has the Biggest Brain • Keep Playing, You'll Get Better!

By SataiDelen » February 16th, 2017, 8:26 pm

So why do I do WORSE with every subsequent game? Lol.

Horrible game. I'm only playing it because I have that badge to get 3,000 tokens. OMG is it slow going!

I started out with an Apeman's brain, then got a Gorilla brain the next game, and this last game I got a chimp's brain. Sheesh, lol.

Wow, I just got my best score ever: 1969cm3. A scientist's brain.

Depending upon how your brain processes information will depend upon how well you do in this game. I'm not very good with calculations, but I'm good with graphics, so the more graphics there are, and deciding what goes where, or figuring out lowest to highest, I'm good with. So when there's more of these types of "games" I score well. But when I have to do the math calculations, I don't do so well.I've also noticed that since most of the pictures repeat themselves from game to game, I can just memorize the patterns and score better also.

And now I've just gotten 2020cm3, a genius brain. Not bad.

Speed is important too though. Just getting some right won't get you to
the required 500 pts per rd. I remembered reading about not opening
the next puzzle if there's only seconds left. I did really like this game a
lot. It took me a year or more to rank out in it but I played it everyday
several times a day to help get it done. Playing it does help you get better
@ the game. I know I was unhappy I was hitting 3k lol. I finally did get over
that. But lots have done much better. GG them.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! So the moral of the story is to take your time and not guess incorrectly, it seems like. I will try again.

IMO, the requirement of 500 in a minigame in order to earn a rank point is way too high. I gave up on that game long ago.

This was copied from a popular game site. Hope it helps. I know from personal experience it takes a very long time to rank up in this game.

You earn rank progress in this game by completing rounds with a score over 500.
Game rank is dependent up getting a score of 500 or more FOUR times in an individual game classification. On the conclusion screen, after the game is over, under the picture of your mini you will see that it tells you your rank, and percentage towards next rank, as well as how many of the items for which you have reached a score of 500.

General tips:
- Wrong answers deduct from your score.  It's generally better to take your time and answer fewer questions but get them all correct than to answer a lot but get several of them wrong.
- If there's only a few seconds left in the round, it may be better to let the time run out without answering rather than guessing.  There's no penalty for running out of time mid-question.
- For the memory and visual games, you earn some points for each part of the correct answer, and a larger amount of points for completing all the answers.  But in most games, if you give any wrong answer, the question immediately ends and you get a new question.

You get one rank point for every minigame with a score of 500 or higher.

1161 total is the total of 4 minigames, you could have for instance 500 - 500 - 100 - 61 and get 2 points
or 300 - 300 - 300 - 261 and get zero points.

By mnstrtrx4me » July 22nd, 2015, 10:54 pm

I'm playing the badge where you have to earn 3000 tokens. Under my mini, at the end of the game, it says:

You Rank: 0
2 of 4 M i n i g a m e s Scored 500+

I've had way more than 2!! Are they counting just the tokens won or what? For example, at the end of my last game, it says:

Your Score: 1161
Tokens: +147

Are they going off the score or the tokens? I'm confused.
