From my perspective, the game is playing fine. No freezes or anything like that. Instead, the issue I'm seeing is that it locks up at the end of the level (in Adventure Mode) and won't load the next one.

SataiDelen - Sorry I forgot to thank you for the wonderful info you provided. That makes sense although it hasn't always been that way. For me, it's only been the last few weeks that I've experienced this problem.
Today, since it's a bonus challenge, it worked even better than yesterday. I got all the way to the 6th level. WOW! But, then it started messing up again so I let the Zombies eat my brains. LOL Wonder if I'll ever be able to play this game all the way through again.

Wow, today it's going a bit better, not great, but better. I actually made it to the 4th level. I updated my Flash and cleared ALL the caches and it's still not working properly. UGH! Before it started messing up I used to make it to the 7th level consistently, sometimes I'd even make it to the 10th level. This mess is becoming very frustrating. I still try to play, but GRRRRRRRRRR! :x

Hey there MLadyD7 - Thank you for your input, but I've done all of those things. It's not that it doesn't load or start out well, it's after I've completed a few stages that it starts going really slow and freezing up. I don't understand what's happening with it. I really like to play this game because it helps me relieve stress, normally. Now, it's causing me stress. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Thank you. :)

It's because of Flash. Flash is a complete resource hog on your computer. The longer you play a Flash game with heavy graphics (like PvZ) as the game progresses, the action will become VERY laggy. It happens to almost EVERYONE who plays this game. So, by the time you reach the stage of the game which says, "Final Wave: More Zombies Coming" and your plants go nuts and start an all out full scale war against all the zombies coming, your screen will most definitely start stuttering and go really slow and even stop for a second or two before becoming animated again, and it will do this until the end of the game or until you just give up and shut the game down. There really is no solution for the issue. And it doesn't matter if you've JUST cleared the Flash cache prior to loading the game, either. It's just how this game works, unfortunately.

I just went to PvZombies and it loaded right up, indeed, it's working properly. I'm using Chrome, Windows 10 as well. Did you clear your Flash Cache as well, and set it to unlimited? Doesn't hurt to try another browser other than the one you normally use to rule out a problem with your current browser as well.

Also, never hurts to reboot your computer after clearing the caches (browser, Flash and java if you play java games) I clear the flash cache as well as my browser cache several times a day where I won't have any problems. Flash games are a memory hog for sure! Good Luck!

Mod Jada - I have been clearing my cache every day and it's still slow and sometimes freezing. Now tell me again that the game is working properly. It is NOT. I usually have no problems with this game until the past week or so. I know that you're trying to help, but the problem is NOT on my end. :x

The game is working properly.

Have you cleared your browser's cache, history, temp files and cookies lately? If you use Internet Explorer, make sure "Preserve Favorite Website Data" is left unchecked. Close your browser after that and now clear your Flash cache:

Close your browser. Go to Start > Control Panel > Click on Flash Player or type in "Flash Player" in the "Search Control Panel box" > Storage > Click the "Delete All" button > Make sure the "Delete All Site Data and Settings" is checked > Delete Data. Restart your browser.

You should clear the caches daily because they fill up quickly.

In the last few days that I've played PvZ, it's been going really slow and today it started freezing. What's going on with this game?

What game style are you choosing? Adventure or Survival? PvZ challenges are easiest played in Survival, where you have your choice of many plants.
