Plants vs. Zombies • Re: Plants vs. Zombies Hints?

By Clark801 » June 2nd, 2015, 11:07 pm

I have the downloadable Plants vs Zombies Game of the Year Full version. I've owned it for several weeks now & have have probably logged in as much time as a typical person would in 3-4 months.

Regarding my zen (& mushroom & aquarium) gardens: One thing that had confounded me all this time was that of all the plants I got awarded as game awards collectively in every single mode, NONE of them were ever aquatic plants, so for the longest time I had an empty aquarium.

I consulted experts at PvZ fan sites and was told things like "you have to play pool or fog levels to get aquatic plants."
Incidently, I was already doing that to no avail. Well, FINALLY today I got my first aquatic plant. This was (approximately) the 1 thousandth plant I had won since purchasing the aquarium. Ironicly, I got my 2nd aquatic plant just a few hours later. Now I have three.

If memory serves, all of them were obtained only in survival>fog>hard. I can only guess that due to how many times I've conquered fog + how many times I've conquered fog>hard, that PvZ deems it too easy to give those to me through fog (regular).

Chocolate I found is important to feed your snail so it collects all the coins in your zen garden, makes it a speedy snail  "

Lovesonnet, my Tree of Wisdom is currently 158' tall. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to 200'!

UPDATE: My Wisdom Tree is now 331' tall & still growing! At this point I'm guessing it grows to 500', 1000', or simply has no height limit. I must say the mysteries embedded in this game are a large part of its appeal.

I don't think it has a height limit, but I do think it has a hint limit. I can't recall offhand how big my tree is, but it's been a LOOOONG time since it's dropped any new information.

SataiDelen, I agree about the hint limit. I think I know more about the game than the tree does. I will keep on growing it, out of curiosity. I shall refrain from any further height updates so as not to be a spoiler. ;)

Thanks for all the great suggestions. Duh, I never realized Jalapeno would melt the ice. That gives me so much more time and lots of options. Look out, Bobsledders!

I use the reinforced Spikeweed as well as the Jalapeno and Squash. I also use the Jalapeno doppelganger (where you can make a second of the same plant). Cattails and/or Starfruits are handy planted in the pool.

I hated that mini game
The thing is it not let the Zamboni build ice use the spiweeked and those
I also used the jalapeno pepper to melt the ice, no ice no bobsled guys

you need to plant spikeweed to stop the slide. Cherry Bombs will also help. I upgrade the spikeweed to spikerack so I don't have to replace it everytime the slide hits it. When it is cold as in the slide, heat destroys it faster, when it is hot then snow peas works best. good luck

Plants vs. Zombies • Full Version - Bobsled

By Jseidel5263 » May 30th, 2015, 4:39 pm

Does anyone know how to quickly and efficiently destroy the bobsled and the 4 zombies riding it? I am trying to win a mini game in the downloaded version and just can't keep up with those pesky zombies on ice! I know that the spikes and the squash do a good job on the guy driving the Zamboni but I'm losing badly to bobsledders. Please help me before they eat what is left of my brains!!

If you avoid planting anything, the zombies can get through to eat your brains more quickly and speed up the game ending. It takes two zombies in one row...the first to trigger the lawnmower, the second to reach the door.

You can't. You have to complete the game to get it to reset.

Even if you buy the full version, you won't be able to connect it to Pogo.

The "demo" version on Pogo is completely separate from the full version and they cannot be connected.

Does anyone know of a code or word to enter into the full version of plants vs zombies? I tried to access pogo help and EA support and all I get is a run around the posies game from them. If they don't want to answer questions why do they offer help or support for the games on Pogo? :x   :!:
