Your Phlinx II Journey

As you play, you’ll collect glyphs that unlock your path through the pyramids, temples and gates of each god. If you make it to the end, you’ll have access to Celestial Phlinx and its treasures for the rest of the month.

Map Screen: Explore a long-lost Egyptian paradise with pyramids, temples and gates dedicated to different gods. Each area offers different glyphs to collect, as well as different obstacles to overcome.

Day Cycle: Every level has a day and night cycle to complete. To make it to night, you must reach the level’s objective. Objectives vary, so keep an eye on the meter to the left.

Ready, Aim, LAUNCH! The Stone Launcher is where you fire from. Use your mouse to aim the sun disks toward the stone stack, then left click to fire.

The launched stone will follow the dotted trajectory line. The stone will bounce off walls until it connects with another stone. If it connects with two or more matching stones, they will be cleared from the stack and earn you points.

You can also cause stones to drop by clearing their connections to the stack. Disconnected stones are worth more than matched stones!

Stone Launcher Position: In certain game modes, you can move the Stone Launcher to shoot from different angles.

Reserve Slot: If you want to save a stone for later, you can click the Stone Saver slot on the right. If there is already a stone saved there, it will move to the launcher. You cannot save Power-Ups for later.

Night Cycle: Once you complete the objective, the level will switch to nighttime. The stones will transform into bronze, silver and gold and a treasure chest will appear. Clear all the stones around it to release it and win the glyph inside.

Game Over: You’ll lose if the stone stack descends below the yellow line near the bottom of the screen.

Glyphs: Inside each treasure chest, you’ll find powerful hieroglyphics, or “glyphs” as Amelia calls them. You’ll find different kinds of glyphs in the different pyramids, temples and gates.

Phlinx Pyramids: To pass through the pyramids, you need to collect four glyphs. When night falls, you will also have to contend with mummy stones.

Phlinx Temples add more challenging objectives, but reward you with Noble Glyphs. You’ll need to collect eight Noble Glyphs to advance to the next area.

Club Pogo Only – Phlinx Gates increase the difficulty further with unmatchable Black Stones. You’ll need to collect four Royal Glyphs to advance.

Club Pogo Only – Celestial Phlinx: The final stage of Phlinx II! To get here, you’ll have to make it through the pyramids, temples and gates of Anubis, Bastet, Thoth and Hathor. Once unlocked, Celestial Phlinx is available all month long. Here you can collect special Celestial Glyph sets.

Club Pogo Only – Monthly Celestial Phlinx Glyph Sets: Every month a new set of Celestial Glyphs will be added. Make your way to the end each month to secure your set!

Club Pogo Only – Celestial Monthly Badges: Collecting three Celestial Glyphs is a great way to expand your Badge Albums. You’ll get a new Badge for each monthly set you complete!

Glyph Leveling: Collecting the same Glyphs over and over again levels them up. Glyphs can be leveled up, starting at Bronze and increasing to Silver, Gold and Diamond.

Glyph Collection: Accessible from the map screen, the Glyph Album shows you every Glyph you’ve collected throughout your adventures.

Club Pogo Only – Diamond Celestial Monthly Badges: If you manage to upgrade your Celestial Glyphs to diamond level, you’ll earn a special Diamond Celestial Monthly Badge.

Club Pogo Only – Chambers of the Past: Journey back to any past month of Celestial Phlinx to complete sets you might have missed.

Power-ups

Time Stone: Pushes the stone stack up three lines.

Fireball Stone: Destroys up to 8 stones in its path.

Balance Stone: Rearranges the stone stack into matching color groups.

Multiplier Stone: Earn double points for your next six shots.

Stone of Change: Replaces any stone in the stack with the stone currently in the Stone Launcher.

Bounce: Don’t forget you can use the side walls to bounce your stones around and reach hard-to-get-to spots.

Aiming Line: The Stone Launcher has a trajectory line showing you where your stone will travel. When the dots are solid, it means the stone has an unobstructed path. If the dots turn transparent, it means the path is blocked by other stones from the point at which they become transparent.

Next Stone: You can see what kind of stone you’ll be firing next. Just check right below the current stone in your launcher. The largest stone will always be the next stone you shoot.

Power-Up Dropping: Sometimes you’ll encounter Power-Ups buried in the stone stack. Free one and you’ll get to use after your next shot.

The goal in the Gate level is to drop 20 stones of a certain color. That means that they have to drop from the screen. Breaking them by making a match doesn't count towards dropping them.

What I often did in the 1st dynasty, Narmar is the 1st Pharaoh of the 2nd dynasty
is play the lower levels and earn glyphs for the Pyramid, Temple and Gate levels.

Each of those glyphs have a bronze, silver, gold and diamond level you can earn
also.

ETA: I have not started collecting the glyphs in the 2nd dynasty yet like I did the 1st
not sure if I will. personally I was disappointed they added 174 new glyphs to the game.

You won the Diamond Narmer Badge which means you completed the task for April.

You can keep playing if you want to or you can wait until May 1st and start fresh toward May's monthly badge and Diamond badge

Gate is harder than Pyramid and Temple but it is doable.

Keep trying and hopefully you will be able to complete the level.

Try to make one or more of the in-game power ups fall and then use that power up the best way possible or use it to make a match that will enable more stones to fall.

You can purchase more power ups if you'd like to do so.

Always keep a stone in the holder on the right side and use that stone to make a match that will allow the stones underneath it to fall.

Some players like to make a path through the middle and then concentrate on the sides but keep playing and find what works best for you.

The more you play the better you will become at seeing which matches are better than other matches.

Phlinx II • Horus gate stones

By ronneecris_AOL » April 17th, 2018, 6:12 pm

Any suggestions on how to get 20 stones to drop in the Horus gate game? I have tried and tried for days/hours and seem to only get at the most 11 to drop (most of the time it's 5-6 dropping). It's very frustrating. Thanks.

Narmer is the badge for April.

If you are playing in the Chamber of The Past, click on the red X at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the arrow at the top left of the Chambers Of The Past screen in order to return to this month's game.

Remember, the goal is to get the Diamond badge each month.

You have to keep on playing in Celestial in order to earn the monthly Diamond badge.

Click on the middle icon at the bottom of the screen that says "Collection" when you hover your mouse pointer over it.
Click "Sets" and then scroll through that list and click Narmer.
If you click on the hexagons you will see how many you have of each.

You need 15 of each for Silver.
You need 15 of each for Gold
You need 30 of each for Diamond

I see the Diamond Narmer Badge in the Badges list on your Profile page.

Click on your screen name at the top of the page to go to your Profile page.
Scroll down a bit on that page, click BADGES (next to About Me) and you will see the badge.

The Diamond Thutmose Badge is also on that page and the Diamond Xerxes badge is on page 2 of your Profile page.

Every since Pogo did the "up grade" to Phlinx II, I have problems just trying to win a simple game to get to the treasure chests! I really enjoy this game but what's the point if I'm just going to keep losing game after game..

Thanks you for the great sale! I have way too many badges to do now! :)

And for looking into Phlinx II issues (though I do wonder if those of us awarded the Diamond badge prematurely will get to keep it!).

Hello Member
Yes, you can keep the Diamond Badge, it’s all yours and you won it. Yay! (Congrats, by the way, that’s not an easy feat!)
