How to play

Map Progression: Each square on the map represents a new and unique tile layout. If you have a favorite, you can always go back to that square at any time. Earn Badges for completing the green-colored Dynasty layout squares.

Scores, Time and Stars: Solve puzzles quicker and smarter to get higher scores. See if you can earn a three stars for every level.

Golden Tiles: Matching Golden Tiles grants a bonus score multiplier for each additional tile you match afterwards. Grab these tiles as early as possible to maximize your score!

Key and Locked Tiles: Pesky locked tiles block access to regular tiles on the board. You must find and match the key tiles to remove them from the board!

Time Machine: Nearing the end of the line? To continue your journey to new eras, you'll need to rescue the Time Machine by matching all the tiles on top of it. You have to be fast to catch it. The Time Machine doesn't stick around for long.

Flower Tiles and Season Tiles: The 4 Flowers can be matched with any other Flower tile, and the 4 Season Tiles can match with any other Season Tile.

Change Tiles: Try out different tiles and find the ones you love! It's easy to change your tiles while in game. Select the Menu Button in the upper right hand corner of the game, and then select TILE SETS. Once you've selected a tile, we'll remember it the next time you play!

Pause: Need to take a short break? You can pause the game you're currently in by selecting the Menu button in the upper right hand corner. This will pause the timer until you get back.

Power-ups

Hint: Reveals an available tile match.

Multi-Hint: Reveals up to 4 available tile matches.

Auto-Play: This powerful power-up auto matches up to 5 tiles for you.

Shuffle: Stuck on a layout or run out of moves? Use the Shuffle power-up to re-arrange the remaining tiles.

Joker: Select a tile using this power-up and all matches of that tile will be removed from the layout, even if they're buried under multiple tiles!

Magnet: Have a tile blocking your way? Use the Magnet to move tiles out of the way, so you can match them later.

Time-Freeze: Want to improve your time or having a difficulty uncovering the Time Machine? Use the Time-Freeze power-up to stop the clock for 30 seconds.

Skip: Having trouble with a level? You can always use the skip power-up and move on. You won't get any stars for a skipped level, but you can always come back and try again later.

Click on the Challenges tab underneath the game and see if your credits are showing.

Nobody here can let anyone know that you don't want to receive gifts.
The only thing you could do is not open them.

Mahjong Escape • [SOLVED] Very strange problem with the game

Hmmm.... so, I tried checking on three more computers. All three - one running Windows 10, another running XP, and another running Windows 7 - they all three had the same problems, one of the computers being brand new. LOL! Sooo... I decided to just leave it alone. Then my daughter checks from her new computer again, and says "Mom...they fixed it." I said, "Oh? Ok, well I'll give it another try from my computer then."

The computer that I posted all those specs and results from? Guess what? The game is magically working like it's supposed to again. So, it was working BEFORE Pogo put the badge challenge out. Then it broke. And then I waited a day without doing anything beyond all the stuff I said I did before (and it still didn't fix it), and now? It's back to working again.

Looks like this was a Pogo goof after all. Four computers with only two of them on the same operating system, and all 4 showed the same issue. Things that make you go Hmmm.. LOL! Anyway, it's resolved now. And yes, I do know this isn't a technical forum, however - I have faith that there are smart people who can help troubleshoot things BEYOND the employed EA folks who don't have time to even reply to my requests for help when I sent in a ticket. ;) So that's why I give it a whirl. If you don't try, you'll never know. Right? Thanks for the attempts to help!

I have contacted both customer service an EA sports given a case number an put on hold for a live chat that never occurred.Kept saying request processed,waiting on live operater...I will try again today,I would like this resolved already. TYVM for your reply .

You can replay levels. I usually play Early India #1 over and over.

You do need to complete the puzzle successfully in order to get challenge credit.

There are not Technician's here in the forums. Not even the Mods.
But, I will ask some questions and try to offer some suggestions.
First, what browser were you using when you took the screen shot of the game?
Disable the Do not tract on the browsers. This interfers with the communication between Pogo's servers and your computer.

Personally, I think it appears to be a graphics issue. I'm wondering why the system info for IE11 is showing a much higher resolution then the other browsers?
How old is your computer? Your monitor? Desktop or Laptop? How much RAM is installed?

Shut your computer down and reboot. Use a program, such as CCleaner (free) or use the Disk Cleanup on Windows 7 to really clean all the old files. There are more temp files on your computer that clearing through browsers, flash or java will not get cleaned up.
From your menu, click My Computer/My PC, Manager and then Device Manager.
Look for Display adapter and click on the arrow to open it. Right click on that and Click properties.
Under Drivers, click Update Driver.
Now try reloading Mahjong Escape and see if it is loading correctly.
Is this doing it on any other game?

ss you are having problems but it seems that the problem lies somewhere in your computer not with pogo or we would all be having problems.. i myself am experiencing problems with my windows 10 and losing a lot of different things.. i no longer have edge or ie and none of my desktop icons work.. so it will be making a trip to the geek squad soon..have you looked thru your settings .. have you checked your flash player.. perhaps redownloading it again..i dont think there is really anything pogo can help you with but you can always try to contact them again...we are all members here even the mods and can only offer suggestions..i can understand your frustration and hope you get it figured out..perhaps restoring your computer to factory issue.. i myself am going to let the geek squad take care of mine..good luck

Thank you. Unfortunately, my attempts to update turned up nothing new. I, also, have yet to hear anything back from EA or Pogo help on this. I guess this will just be an off limit game and badges for the remainder of the time I stick around. If other games break like this, though...not a whole lot I can do, but I know there's definitely no reason to keep on paying if I have more and more games I cannot play. Let's hope that is not the case.

I have windows 7 IE #11 play all the games never have any problems been on pogo bout 11 years I still have java and play all those games to. Hope everyone gets their problems fixed.
