Letters from Nowhere

A dramatic and mysterious journey awaits! Letters from Nowhere is an online hidden object game where you play the role of Audrey, a young woman whose husband Patrick has disappeared under strange circumstances. It’s up to you to find letters, artifacts, and ghostly messages to unravel the mystery.

Explore the city of Nowhere
A beautiful, rich, and haunting atmosphere with hundreds of hidden objects to find. Explore a range of environments within the town of Nowhere to track down clues!

Take part in a dramatic storyline
A trail of letters and artifacts from an otherworldly origin. Search for clues and interact with puzzling relics along the way!

Exciting mini games
Enjoy a variety of mini games to obtain artifacts which are used to reveal the story behind Patrick’s disappearance!

Different Power Ups
Select from a powerful array of tools at your disposal to help you along your journey.

Explore a range of hauntingly beautiful indoor and outdoor scenes within the town of Nowhere filled with hidden objects to find.

There are 12 items to find in each hidden objects level. Find the objects by clicking on them.

Within each episode is a letter to provide clues about Patrick's disappearance, as well as a puzzling artifact that must be skillfully unlocked in order to reveal the final mystery.

Collect an artifact from each of the 11 episodes. Those artifacts will be instrumental in unveiling the story behind Patrick's disappearance in the conclusion.

To help you along your journey, use various Power Ups to find objects! You start your adventure with a free rechargeable hint. If you desire to have more powerful tools, you can purchase a camera, thermometer, or palette, each providing a fun and unique way to assist you.

There is a challenging mini game within each episode to unlock a necessary artifact. Complete it to add to your high score! Or skip it if you get stuck.

Club Pogo Exclusive! Club Pogo members have access to a special trophy room. Complete special challenges and collect beautifully detailed stamps that record your achievements within the town of Nowhere.

There are a variety of Power Ups to help you on your adventure!
  • Magnifying Glass Hint - Reveals the location of one hidden object.
  • Thermometer - Move the thermometer around the scene before it disappears. When it glows hot, a hidden object is close by!
  • Palette - Temporarily transforms the list of hidden objects into pictures that provide visual cues.
  • Camera - The powerful camera flash momentarily reveals up to 6 objects hidden in the scene.

Want to earn higher scores in this hidden objects game? Here are some tips and tricks to help you along the way!

Certain objects require two pieces to be combined in order to pick them up. If your mouse cursor displays spinning gears when it hovers over an object, you must find a related object to pair with it. Clicking the related object will pick it up, which enables you to connect it with the base object.

Hidden in the different locations are stamps and black cats (a Club Pogo exclusive!) Finding these objects will boost your score.

Locate a series of objects in rapid succession to score a combo. Beat your previous combo to earn a trophy!(A Club Pogo exclusive!)

If you get stuck in a mini-game, you can click the "Solve Puzzle" button to skip it, but you might miss out on a higher score or even a trophy!

I, too am having some problems with Letters from Nowhere....the words are very dim and in some games the items are not there...like they belong to another scene. I also am NOT getting and hint power at all. It does not start filling in to give you a hint to use. It just sits there. Any tips? Thank you!

What I did is finish all of the other pictures in the series that has a trouble screen. Then I was able to click on 'Replay' for that series and the items were available.

I am only having that same problem in the first/picture of the very first game in the list. I can play all of the other selections, and I had played that first picture many times in the past with no problems. This is a Pogo glitch....I always use I.E. on the other parts in Letters with no problem.

Worked okay for me. A generic answer to some problems is to change browsers. I bounce back and forth between Google and Firefox. One usually works. Played the game on Google this time. I wish is Pogo is going to encourage us to play this game they'd add more episodes or chapters or whatever they call them.

Oh, fiddle! I left out a step! After you click on settings, if you don't see the little Enable Hardware Acceleration , you need to click on the first icon of a computer screen that you see there, then you will get the Enable Hardware Acceleration. Sometimes it is there already and sometimes your have to click that computer screen icon. So sorry for the omission.

A friend of mine told me that this works in all Flash Games like Letters from Nowhere. I gave it a try this morning and it worked for me and also has worked on other games that are Flash Games.

You should start a game and then right click on the games screen, then you will see a little pop box . Then where it says Enable Hardware Acceleration and either put a check mark in the box by it or remove the check mark if it is already checked. Then you have to click on the close button.

I have no idea why this works or if it will for you but it was all good for me. Hope it helps you.

Tried that in IE but the popup box only shows Settings, Global Settings and one other option, close, I think. Nothing about Hardware Acceleration. I'm assuming the acceleration option has to do with Flash, not a particular browser.

I'm getting another problem when trying to access the game with Firefox, which I updated to 48.0.1 this morning. I get the error message that goes something like "Oops! Something is wrong. We can't load the game for you. Try again later."

Not sure if all this is worth 1000 tokens.

It seems you can play the free ones in episode 1. Episode 2 though just brings up the list of items as if they had already been found

Been like this for a very long time, game loads fine, but the box of the items to find is blank, or sometimes so faint they can't be seen. Any ideas anyone?
