First Class Solitaire is a classic online solitaire card game with first-class extras! In this travel-themed solitaire game, players need to place their cards in numerical order in alternating suits to win. Look out for the "bonus" cards to increase your score.


First Class Game Play
The object of First Class Solitaire is to move all of the cards from the table and the deck into one of the four "foundation" piles at the top of the screen.

Solitaire with Style
New cards of the same suit are added to the foundation in ascending sequence; A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K. Sort all 52 cards into the correct piles and win the game!

Bonus Cards
Hidden among the standard playing cards are four BONUS cards, one for each of the four suits. When placed on a foundation pile, the BONUS card reveals a special score multiplier.

Score Tokens
All shuffles and deals of the cards are completely random. If you are unable to remove all of the cards from the table, begin a new game, and collect all the tokens you've won from the previous game.

Solitaire Basics
At the beginning of the game, seven stacks of cards are laid out on the table with the top card in each pile face up. The first stack has one card (face up), the second stack pile has two cards (one card face up, one card face down), until the seventh stack has seven cards with only the top card face up.

Following Suit
You can click and drag cards between the stacks. The cards must be placed in alternate color order and always in descending sequence (a black 8 can only be placed on a red 9). When you drag a card into position, the top card of the stack will highlight to indicate which locations are legal moves. Sequences of stacked cards can be moved in this manner as well by clicking and dragging the top card in the sequence.

Build a Foundation
You can also move cards to one of the four "foundation" piles. Beginning with the Ace of the matching suit, each foundation pile is built from an ascending sequence of cards; A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K. A card can be moved to the correct foundation pile by automatically double-clicking on it. If it is the next card in the sequence, it will move to the correct pile. BONUS cards can also be moved by double-clicking them.

Solitaire Scoring
Find and move the BONUS cards to the foundation piles to win tokens. When a BONUS card is placed on a foundation pile, the token multiplier is activated. Any card played in that foundation pile (before or after the BONUS card is placed) is worth the number of tokens on the multiplier. Below each foundation pile is a window that shows the current score for that pile. At the bottom of the screen, the score window shows the total score for the game.

Solitaire Basics
Try to clear as many cards from the table as you can before drawing new cards from the deck.

Following Suit
Don't play three cards in a row from the deck. That way, the next time you go through the deck you'll see different cards. You can move cards out of the foundation pile if you need to. You'll lose any tokens you have won for the card so far, but it may help you complete a sequence.

Build a Foundation
Don't be greedy. If you play just to collect BONUS cards you probably won't be able to clear the table and win the game.

Solitaire Scoring
If it looks like you can not finish the game, move as many cards and BONUS cards to foundation as possible to maximize your token payout.

First Class Solitaire Game Controls
  • New Game: Click "New Game" when there are no more cards you can move and your game is over. You will collect any tokens that you won and start over with a new set of cards.
  • Undo: Clicking "Undo" will reverse your last move, if the move did not reveal a new card.
  • Deck: Click on the deck to deal three more cards to the table. If there are less than 3 cards, only the remaining cards will be dealt to the table.
  • Restack Arrow: When you have used all the cards in the deck, an arrow will appears. Clicking the arrow will restack the deck. You may restack the deck as many times as you like.
  • Finish: When all the cards have been placed face up on the table, the "Finish" button will appear. Clicking this button will automatically move all the cards from the table to the correct foundation pile.
  • Sound: Clicking this button to turns sounds on or off in the game.

First Class Solitaire • [Java Games] Unable to load in latest Google Chrome Browser

Our team is aware that users who are using the latest version of Google Chrome may experience loading issues in our Java games.

For further information regarding this issue, please visit Pogo News. There is also a work-around listed there to allow Chrome to play Java games until September 2015.

This is a site-wide problem and not limited to specific games or players. There appears to be no current solution and while the disappearing/reappearing ranks don't seem factually missing, those would like to avoid losing progress are cautioned to play with that expectation in mind.

Some players have reported that their ranks are returning. Since it is a major holiday I wouldn't expect the issue to be quickly resolved and would advise patience. Remember that those here in the forums offering suggestions are fellow players who are taking the time to help.

We will be limiting new threads on this topic and merging others in an effort to keep the forums usable for all posters.

First Class Solitaire • Game Froze, all levels disappeared

I was playing First Class Solitaire today, and was on level 59/70, with around 1600+ cards to level 60. My computer froze and when it came back up, I was starting over from level zero. I contacted EA Live Chat and they are researching this. Didn't know if I would get my full progress back or not. Went to check on the game and ALL my progress was restored. Thank You very much EA Sports.

While the buttons to activate may be greyed-out and unusable, you can still activate older weekly challenges as your Personal. Rather than use the activate buttons, try this:


Go to Badges > Find a Badge. You'll see old weeklies greyed-out:

Now click on the title of the badge:

And the ACTIVATE CHALLENGE button:

This method will work for all types of Pogo's browser-based games, and will work for new unplayed challenges as well.

Our team is aware that when viewing your profile and clicking on the badge tab that badges are displaying in reverse order from oldest earned to newest earned. We are currently looking into the issue.

You total score depends on the multipliers, not when you get them but, what they are: 2, 3, 4 or 5.
Here is how it is explained in the How to Play.


Scoring
You will need to find and move the BONUS cards to the foundation piles to win tokens. When a BONUS card is placed on a foundation pile, the token multiplier is activated. Any card played in that foundation pile (before or after the BONUS card is placed) is worth the number of tokens on the multiplier.

Below each foundation pile is a window that shows the current score for that pile. At the bottom of the screen, the score window shows the total score for the game.

so it depends when you get the multiplier your ultimate points. That is why it says if you play for the multiplier you most likely will not win. I play for the challenge.

First Class Solitaire- Points earned in game = Tokens

13 cards in suit x 2 to 5 = points (26 points minimum to 65 points maximum)

Highest possible score is 260 points (all 4 suits multiplied by 5)

Finishing the game gives you a jackpot spin of at least 100 tokens.

Not finishing games gives you cards placed x multiplier. Any cards placed without a multiplier is worth zero points.

The power cards have different multipliers. (X3, X4, etc) That will make your score different each time.

How does the game calculate your points? I have won several games and the points are different on each one. I read the scoring but it says after you play a power card on a stack it multiplies both the cards above it and below it. Just curious I noticed a range of scores listed under player scores.

Hello. I'm playing the Travel the World Challenge and I began it on 26 March. When I shut down for the night, I had 20/25 foundations covered. I go back to the game this morning and I find that it went to 0/25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to start all over again and I am not happy about this. :evil: :shock: . I want to know to why this happened and can I get back my credit .....

First Class Solitaire is now a flash game. As more and more games change over to flash, it's even more important that you clear you flash cache out more and more frequently. You may also need to adjust your flash manager settings to play better on Pogo and other gaming sites.

Once you've established that you have the latest Flash and it's working properly, you need to know that all flash games are memory hogs, so you may need to adjust your flash player settings to play this game and to work more efficiently in Pogo.
View this pictorial that Mod_Skratty put together on Flash Manager settings for Pogo: FLASH MANAGER SETTINGS

I would suggest following the tutorial and making sure your flash settings are the same.
You may want to log out of Pogo, close your browser, then reopen and re-log in to make sure these setting take effect.

Try clearing your cache and see what happens. You may want to clear our your flash cache anytime you notice a flash-based game starting to get sluggish or freeze up.
