First Class Solitaire is a classic online solitaire card game with first-class extras! In this travel-themed solitaire game, players need to place their cards in numerical order in alternating suits to win. Look out for the "bonus" cards to increase your score.


First Class Game Play
The object of First Class Solitaire is to move all of the cards from the table and the deck into one of the four "foundation" piles at the top of the screen.

Solitaire with Style
New cards of the same suit are added to the foundation in ascending sequence; A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K. Sort all 52 cards into the correct piles and win the game!

Bonus Cards
Hidden among the standard playing cards are four BONUS cards, one for each of the four suits. When placed on a foundation pile, the BONUS card reveals a special score multiplier.

Score Tokens
All shuffles and deals of the cards are completely random. If you are unable to remove all of the cards from the table, begin a new game, and collect all the tokens you've won from the previous game.

Solitaire Basics
At the beginning of the game, seven stacks of cards are laid out on the table with the top card in each pile face up. The first stack has one card (face up), the second stack pile has two cards (one card face up, one card face down), until the seventh stack has seven cards with only the top card face up.

Following Suit
You can click and drag cards between the stacks. The cards must be placed in alternate color order and always in descending sequence (a black 8 can only be placed on a red 9). When you drag a card into position, the top card of the stack will highlight to indicate which locations are legal moves. Sequences of stacked cards can be moved in this manner as well by clicking and dragging the top card in the sequence.

Build a Foundation
You can also move cards to one of the four "foundation" piles. Beginning with the Ace of the matching suit, each foundation pile is built from an ascending sequence of cards; A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K. A card can be moved to the correct foundation pile by automatically double-clicking on it. If it is the next card in the sequence, it will move to the correct pile. BONUS cards can also be moved by double-clicking them.

Solitaire Scoring
Find and move the BONUS cards to the foundation piles to win tokens. When a BONUS card is placed on a foundation pile, the token multiplier is activated. Any card played in that foundation pile (before or after the BONUS card is placed) is worth the number of tokens on the multiplier. Below each foundation pile is a window that shows the current score for that pile. At the bottom of the screen, the score window shows the total score for the game.

Solitaire Basics
Try to clear as many cards from the table as you can before drawing new cards from the deck.

Following Suit
Don't play three cards in a row from the deck. That way, the next time you go through the deck you'll see different cards. You can move cards out of the foundation pile if you need to. You'll lose any tokens you have won for the card so far, but it may help you complete a sequence.

Build a Foundation
Don't be greedy. If you play just to collect BONUS cards you probably won't be able to clear the table and win the game.

Solitaire Scoring
If it looks like you can not finish the game, move as many cards and BONUS cards to foundation as possible to maximize your token payout.

First Class Solitaire Game Controls
  • New Game: Click "New Game" when there are no more cards you can move and your game is over. You will collect any tokens that you won and start over with a new set of cards.
  • Undo: Clicking "Undo" will reverse your last move, if the move did not reveal a new card.
  • Deck: Click on the deck to deal three more cards to the table. If there are less than 3 cards, only the remaining cards will be dealt to the table.
  • Restack Arrow: When you have used all the cards in the deck, an arrow will appears. Clicking the arrow will restack the deck. You may restack the deck as many times as you like.
  • Finish: When all the cards have been placed face up on the table, the "Finish" button will appear. Clicking this button will automatically move all the cards from the table to the correct foundation pile.
  • Sound: Clicking this button to turns sounds on or off in the game.

I'm having trouble with solitaire, because of long scribing with the ADS and the only it stops is when "stop scribing" pops up and stops it but I have to do it when a new game is started, its a pain!

The COPD prescription ad keeps stalling my game so I can't even load solitaire. I tried to report the problem to AE but I can't even find where to report it. The ad was extraneous lines in the top left hand corner. It doesn't respond to anything I do to try and move it along. I clicked on the report a problem button and I get a blacked out page with the circling deely bobber going round and round ....
HELP!

Sorry, I didn't get back to you sooner. Your problems is Compatibility Mode is on. You need to remove it.
Click the IE11 Gear and select Compatibility View Settings. From the pop up, remove Pogo from your list (actually remove everything from that list) and uncheck the box that says Use Microsoft compatibility list.
Apply .
While this feature was great back when Windows 8 was first released, it is no long necessary and just causes problems.

Try using Edge I have windows 10 and I use that to play most games some work better on IE though

That badge is in World Class Solitaire so double-check that you are playing the correct game since you are posting in the First Class Solitaire forums.

Your first city can be of any length with any number of losses before you finish the city. After that, you need a 1 Stamp / 1 Win city and to win that hand without a loss. An example of a 1 Stamp / 1 Win city is San Francisco to Indianapolis. If you don't have a 1 Stamp / 1 Win city as a choice, try going for the longest available city so that you might get a short city after you finish the long one.

Once you get to a 1 Win city, don't hit New Game if you are going to lose the hand. Instead, leave the room and come back so that you get a new hand to try to win.

Am working on this badge which requires visiting 2 cities in a row. I'm assuming I have to find a destination city that requires no stops on the way to that city. Can anyone tell me what cities they are? I've tried a few but so far they seem to have 2 stops? Any tips on how to achieve this badge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In addition to clearing your caches try the following when a game doesn't load:

Leave the page and go back to your home page. Now go back to the game and see if it loads.
Sign out of Pogo and sign back in again.
Right click on "Start Game" in the yellow rectangle and choose to open the game in a new tab or window.
Refresh the page ( F5 key at the top of your keyboard).
Try a different browser to see if you have better results.

Here is what I do if a game doesn't load for me:

I leave the page and return to the home page.
I go back to the game and it usually loads on the second try.
If it doesn't load on the second try I repeat the process and it always loads on the third try.

Try that and see if it helps.

Reset your browser's zoom to 100 percent.

While you are on the homepage, hold down the CTRL key and press the Zero key (above the letter P on your keyboard) at the same time. That will reset your zoom back to 100 percent.

Do that BEFORE you go to the game.

Most of Pogo's games should always be played with your zoom set at 100 percent.

A zoom higher than 100 percent will result in what you've described.

I seem to be having problems, when I click on a card to move to another pile or to put up the next card is not flipping up, I have to click on another row in order to have the card flip over to be seen. This only happens on the 2 right hand rows and mainly on the far right hand row of cards, it also only happens when I have enlarged the game for ease of playing. I am wondering what is causing this problem. I have noticed in a couple of other games that if not enlarged they work fine. I didn't have this problem before, it seems to have just come about in the past 2 weeks or so.

Unfortunately, Pogo technicians will not see your post - the best way to convey information to staff is to visit the Help link and speak with customer service. You might also try the Answers HQ forums.

Again, this wasn't an issue that affected all Pogo players - if that's the case, Pogo will not be in a position to post a Global Announcement about it since they cannot be sure of why some players experience problems and others don't. Speaking only for myself, I experienced no problems with Pogo games during that period using both Chrome and Pale Moon as my browsers.
