CLUE Secrets & Spies

CLUE: Secrets and Spies is a covert hidden-object game filled with intrigue, secrets and spies! Use your sleuthing skills to find hidden objects and track down the nefarious Agent Black and his C.L.U.E. operatives. As an agent of P.O.G.O. it's up to you to search for hidden objects and clues to solve the mystery.

Hidden Object Intrigue
This is a hidden object game in which you must search for clues hidden in a scene. Once you have found all of the clues, you win the game.

Revealing Mysteries
The game is split into separate episodes, like a TV show, and you don't need to play the episodes in any particular order.

Dark Secrets
Once you start an episode, you have 60 minutes to complete it. The Timer only runs while you are inside a level, and you may halt the Timer by hitting Pause, or by clicking on the Timer itself.

Elusive Spies
You may leave the game and your progress will be saved so you can come back to it later.

Hidden Object Levels
On the left of the screen is a list of hidden objects. Find those objects inside the scene displayed, and click on them in the scene. Once all ten hidden objects have been found, the level should end unless the level also contains the Night Vision Goggles, the Flashlight or the Fogcutter; click on them once you find them. They will come in handy in a later level of the game.

Spot the Difference Levels
Examine the images on both sides very carefully, and spot the differences between the two images. Once you have found a difference, click on it.

Clue
If you're stuck and cant find one of the hidden objects, you can hit the Clue button to activate the Clue Detector. Move the detector around the screen and the closer you get to a hidden object, the more the detector's meter will fill with red. Click on the hidden object once you locate it. The Clue detector can only be activated once it is charged, and activating it will take 60 seconds off the clock.

Jackpot!
To win a Jackpot Spin in Clue: Secrets & Spies, you need to complete an episode in under 60 minutes.

The Jackpot Spinner spins like a slot machine. When it stops spinning, you'll win the prize indicated on the spinner or perhaps the JACKPOT itself!

If the Jackpot Spinner lands on the word "JACKPOT," you'll receive the current Jackpot amount.

To claim your Jackpot, you must fill out the contact information and conform to the eligibility requirements listed in our Prize Rules.

Here are some additional pointers designed to help you become a more advanced CLUE: Secrets and Spies player.
If you are having trouble fitting the full screen in your browser, click outside the game area and hit the 'F11' key on your keyboard. This will automatically adjust the game to your browser.

Don't be afraid to click the Clue button for a hint.

The names of hidden objects can be misleading. If it says "Bow" you might need to find the weapon, a piece of ribbon, or a violin bow, so don't assume which one it is.

Keep an eye out for the Night Objects, the Flashlight, the Night Vision Goggles, and the Fog Cutters, while you're searching the levels. You'll need one of them to complete the episode.

You don't need to complete the hidden object episodes in any order. If one is too difficult, try switching to another one. Your progress in the episode will be saved and you can go back to finish it later.

If you're stuck, you can exit the level by clicking the Map button and try another level. When you go back to the level you were having trouble with, something you missed before might jump out at you when you look at it with fresh eyes.

You didn't pay for the free episode. You will see that by checking your Gems Transaction Record. That will show you exactly what you bought:

Click on "My Account", enter your password, click on Billing and Subscription and scroll down until you see "My Gems Purchasing." Look under Other Resources and click on "View Your Gems Transaction Record."

Thanks BocaJunior1 for the information. Yes, I did pay for the last one, but the one before, I can't say that I did pay for it.
But no worries :) I love the game.

Another thing to keep in mind that the notice about a "Free" game in terms of what showed up Tuesday is just an ad - as Boca noted, In Plain Sight was always free. It's just that we release our quarterly free episode alongside an episode that DOES cost gems. In this case, A.I.P.I. was the episode you would have had to pay for.

The free game is called "In Plain Sight" and was always free. It was issued at the same time as another episode "A.I.P.I." which cost the regular price. From what others have said it's just not possible to pay for a free episode. Did you by any chance pay for A.I.P.I.?

I always buy the game on Monday, and Tuesday it's free. How about giving back the gems. I so enjoy this game and I pay for every one, a free game is a nice change, but not when they say free the day after.

Are you playing the whole episode, all 5 cities and the hidden difference game? That would be one episode, and one credit toward badge.

When you click on the Clue Promo from the Home page, it will take you to the Clue Store. LOOK at what it says.
The first on the list is the A.I.P.I. and it is 20 Gems.
The second item on the list is In Plain Sight and it does say 20 Gems, BUT CONTINUE READING:

You get this Episode FREE as a Club Pogo Member and the green button says PLAY.

Alice is right. When I go to the Clue store or even the Clue site it is requesting I purchase the free episode. When I go to get it, it shows 20 less gems from my gem account. So I did't go through with it.

The free episode In Plain Site shows "Play Now" next to it. The episode called A.I.P.I. shows "Get Now" after it.

Alice, what Jada said is correct - you definitely want to check whether or not A.I.P.I. is showing as "owned" for you. It shouldn't be possible for a Club member to pay for a free episode, but as we always release our free episodes alongside a regular one, it may be that you inadvertently purchased the regular CLUE episode.
