What does Connect with Facebook do?

Create a Free Pogo account using Facebook

To Create a Pogo account with Facebook, click the button on the sign in page. On the next page you can click on the “Sign Up” button to create a new Pogo account which will be automatically linked to your Facebook account.

Note: Your Facebook account can only be linked to 1 Pogo account. If you already have a Pogo account, sign in to your existing Pogo account instead of creating a new Pogo account.

Instantly log in to your Pogo Account

Once your Pogo account is linked to Facebook, you can log in using the "Connect with Facebook" button from any page. If you have already logged into Facebook today, your Pogo account will instantly log in. Otherwise, you will be prompted for your Facebook password.

Use my Photo and Name from Facebook

Your Facebook name and photo will be visible on the profile page only to you. No other Pogo player can see this information. This will help you to remember that your Facebook account is linked to a Pogo account.

Publish your Club Pogo Badges to Facebook

When you win a Badge on Club Pogo, you can publish the badge to your Facebook feed by pressing the "publish" button. You can also visit your Badge Album and click the Facebook 'f' icon next to your badge to publish it.

Showcase your Mini on Facebook

You can Post a Picture of your Pogo Mini on Facebook by clicking the "Showcase your Mini" button in the Pogo Mini Mall, or in your Mini Snapshots page. Why not make it your Facebook Profile Picture?

The Mini image will be created using the first frame of the animation. Pausing your Mini animation on a certain frame and then clicking the "Showcase your Mini" button will have no effect on the image that is created. Note: Showcasing your Mini on Facebook will enable Auto-publish.

When you receive a gift from a friend on Pogo you can publish your gift on your Facebook wall. Click the Publish button when opening your gift.

How do I connect my Pogo account to Facebook account?

To Connect your account to Facebook, click the button on any page. Once you click the button you will be asked for your Facebook User Name and Password. Follow the on-screen instructions and your accounts will be linked.

If you create your Pogo account using Connect with Facebook, certain actions such as checking out of the Mini Mall or entering Tokens into drawings require additional account information. In this case you will be asked to supply additional information for your account. If your account is already converted the link will send you to the Pogo homepage.

Why is Pogo asking me for my date of birth and gender?

We are asking for your date of birth and gender so that Pogo can customize your experience and learn more about how different people use Pogo.

Can I link my Facebook to more than one Pogo account?

No. Only one Pogo account can be linked to a Facebook account, so choose wisely! However, if you change your mind, you can always disconnect a Pogo account from your Facebook account and connect a different Pogo account.

Do I have to show everyone on Pogo my Facebook profile picture and name?

No. You are the only one who can see your Facebook profile picture and name. You can see those if you go to your profile page.

If I'm a Fan of Pogo on Facebook am I already connected?

No, if you have already fanned us on Facebook, you will still need to click the Connect with Facebook button on Pogo to link your accounts.

How can I make my Mini my Facebook Profile Picture?

First, make sure you are logged in to Pogo. Go to your Profile page or to the Mini Mall or to your Snapshots page and you will see a button called "Showcase your Mini". Click on that button and you will see a popup with a preview of how your Mini will look on Facebook. Just click OK. Behind the scenes, a photo album called "Pogo.com Photos" will be created in your Facebook Photos and your Mini picture will be uploaded to that album. You will see a confirmation message that will provide a link directly to your Photos page on Facebook where you will see your new Pogo.com Photos album. From there, just click on the Mini image to open the album and you can use the standard "Make Profile Picture" link under your Mini picture to make your Mini your Profile Picture on Facebook.

Can I publish Pogo activity to my Facebook news feed?

Yes, you can publish Club Pogo weekly badges, Showcase your Mini and the gifts you have received.

Are weekly badges automatically published to Facebook after they are earned?

No. Once you receive the message indicating you have successfully earned a badge, you can click the Facebook button in the message to share it.

Can I log into Pogo with my Facebook username?

No, you must use your Pogo screen name and password. To login with Facebook, click the "Connect with Facebook" button or the “Log In” button with the Facebook icon. You may be prompted for your Facebook user name and Password on that screen if you're not currently logged into Facebook.

If you create your Pogo account using Connect with Facebook, certain actions such as getting Mini items or entering Tokens into drawing require additional account information. In this case you will be asked supply additional information for your account. How do I un-link my account?

To un-link your account, go to your Pogo Profile page and click "Remove link with Facebook" in the Facebook section. If this button does not exist, you must convert your account first by going here: https://www.pogo.com/action/pogo/convertaccountview.do?pageSection=fbc_faq_convert. If your account is already converted the link will send you to the Pogo homepage.

Why can't I link to my Facebook account?

If you can't link your Pogo account to Facebook, you must have already linked another Pogo account to Facebook. You can either log in to your other Pogo account that your Facebook is already linked to, and un-link it or you can delete the Pogo.com app from your Facebook Page.

To Delete the Pogo App from Facebook:

  1. Log in to Facebook.com
  2. Click on "Account Settings" and choose "Apps".
  3. Click the X next to Pogo.com link to remove the application.
  4. Login to the Pogo account you want to link, then visit your Profile Page on Pogo and link this Pogo account to Facebook.

Why is it saying my account is already linked?

This means your Facebook account is already linked to another Pogo account. See "How do I un link my account?" above.

Why am I getting a Facebook.com "Security Warning" on some Pogo Pages in Internet Explorer?

This means that you have Pogo.com in Internet Explorer's "Trusted sites" list but not Facebook.com. Add Facebook.com to your Trusted Sites.
